Cayman Islands Crisis Centre – Programmes & Services

"One in three women and one in four men have experienced some form of physical abuse by an intimate partner in their lifetime"

Mission & Vision

The Cayman Islands Crisis Center is a charitable organization that provides support to all victims of domestic abuse via services and programmes focusing on domestic and sexual abuse.

Our vision is to close our doors forever because our services are no longer needed, and to create a safe society where all individuals are equally valued and respected.

Our Initiatives

Project Further

Denise Powers is undertaking the biggest endeavour of her career with the founding of Project Further and its first initiative – hiking the full length of the 2,650 mile Pacific Crest Trail to raise $1 million to build the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre a new home.

Operating Costs

Each year the costs of running the shelter grow with the cost of living. The Cayman Islands Crisis Centre relies on fundraising to cover hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual operating costs.

New Shelter

We have opened our current 24/7 Emergency Shelter’s doors to women and children who suffer from abuse on the 8 th of March 2003.
