What is Pi Day?

Pi Day is the annual celebration of the mathematical Pi constant. It takes place annually on March 14th (3/14).

On Monday 14 March, dedicated CICC volunteers will have ONE whipped cream filled pie at each of our participating companies! For a donation, the pie can be sent towards the face of anyone present within the company.

The pie recipient then has a choice of 3 options:

• Take the pie in the face (thus ending the game!);
• Redirect the pie by making a new (and higher) donation; or
• Pay $2,000 to “Eat the Pie!”.

At this point they can sit down and eat the pie (boooooo), or they can nominate to send it towards a face which must take it (thus ending the game).
We are hoping the pie continues on its path and gathers a target of $1,000 in donations, causing lots of laughter for a great cause, before finally meeting its fate.
